2011 BABC Conference

The British American Business Council chapter in Northern California is proud to host the 18th annual British American Business Council Transatlantic Conference in San Francisco, from May 11-13, 2011 at the Fairmont Hotel atop Nob Hill, the most famous hotel in the city.
The conference theme for 2011 is the Impact of Innovation. We will be exploring every aspect and consequence of innovation in our business and social endeavors and we expect to attract an elite group of senior business executives from many of the world’s most successful companies, who will gather to hear and meet with innovative leaders from both Bay Area and global businesses.
The panelists and keynote speakers will capture the components that breed innovation, from strategies for funding new ideas, finding human talent – both academic and industrial, to the tenacity of true entrepreneurs and the role of various service industries needed to build and foster innovation, including law, finance and marketing.
San Francisco and the Bay Area boasts more than its fair share of innovative new businesses and is home to a dynamic, technology based economy spearheading the IT, biotech and clean technology sectors. As a world-class destination city and the gateway to Silicon Valley’s technology and innovation, San Francisco is the perfect location to gather together key champions and exponents of Innovation, and have them share with delegates ways to forge innovative practices within their organizations.
