International Lawyers (BAL) Session

As part of the 2011 BABC Transatlantic Conference in San Francisco, May 11-13, 2011, we are delighted to announce a significantly expanded, half-day program for legal attendees.

The legal (BAL) sessions will cover a range of international legal topics within the conference’s overall theme of Innovation. Highly respected lawyers and guest speakers from the US and the UK will lead several panels addressing cutting edge legal issues facing business and litigation lawyers in their day to day practices.

Topics will range from the legal implications of technological innovations such as cloud computing and the increased reliance on computers instead of humans in every aspect of dispute resolution, to the regulatory compliance needed in both the U.S. and the U.K. to certify a business as clean, green and sustainable. The final panel will address the legal and business challenges facing the entrepreneur cultivating and managing a global workforce. For more information please see Agenda below.

Attendance at the legal sessions can be combined with discounted rates for the whole Transatlantic Conference, including the kick-off reception on Wednesday, May 11 and the UKTI/Britweek Innovation Business Awards Gala Dinner on Thursday, May 12, 2011.
