The British American Business Council (formerly British American Chamber of Commerce) is an authorized distributor of British Standards. Having been a distributor of British Standards for over twelve years the Chamber is well qualified to help manufacturers in identifying the British Standards they require to comply with British regulations.

A standard is a document that has been written and approved by a recognized body. These documents provide guidelines for their use or their results.

British Standards is also the producer of the English versions of the European Standards needed by manufacturers to comply with the CE Mark.
All British Standards and the English version of European Standards are produced on a print on demand system, so they include all revisions, which are incorporated into the text right up to the time of printing.
